Bearcats Finish 11th at Prestigious West Regiona Invitational

ROUND ROCK, TX — Rio Kuteira and Cord Jonson both shots 242 over three rounds as the Willamette University men’s golf team finished in the middle of the pack at the West Region Inivitiational earlier this week at the Teravista Golf Course in Round Rock, TX.

The Bearcats finished 11th overall, just two shots behind host Southwestern. Mary Hardin Baylor won the team event with a combined scored of 919. Redlands finished second. The Bearcats were the top finisher of the NWC teams in attendance.

Alsong with Kuteira and Jonson’s 242, Kris Hunt shot a 243, Paul Crissali finished with 253 and Martin Kraal shot a 254. Kuteira shot the low round of the three-day event for the Bearcats, firing a 75 on the first day.
