Legendary Coach Pete Carril Highlights Bearcat Hoop Clinic on Saturday; Registration Still Available
CONE FIELD HOUSE — For years, Pete Carril has been a recognized
coaching guru. After leading Princeton to the NCAA tournament
several times, Carril now patrols the sidelines as an assistant
coach for the Sacramento Kings.
This weekend, local coaches can benefit from Carril’s experience,
and that of head Bearcat Coach Gordie James, at the annual Bearcat
Hoop Clinic beginning at 8 a.m. at the Sparks Center on the campus
of Willamette University.
