Bearcats Open NWC Play Tonight At L&C

PORTLAND, OR - The Willamette University women's and men's basketball teams open northwest Conference play tonight as they travel to Lewis & Clark College to take on the Pioneers.
The women's game begins at 6:00 p.m. The men play at 8:00 p.m. Bearcat fans can listen live to the games over the Pioneer Broadcast system. You can hear all the action at the link listed below:

The women come into tonight's game with a 1-2 record after last Tuesday's loss in the home-opener to Corban College. Coach Bruce Henderson will likely start a line-up of Sara Brooks, Brittany Farrer, Victoria Swigart, Tacie Nygaard and Laura Payne.
The men are 2-2 with wins over Colorado College and Oregon Institute of Technology, and losses to CSU-Pueblo and Southern Oregon. Coach Gordie James projects a starting line-up of Josh Erickson, CJ Stuvland, John Olinger, Ian Mansfield and Jason Luchterhand.
The Bearcats continue NWC play at home Saturday night against Pacific Lutheran University. Tip-off is 6 p.m. for women and 8 p.m. for men.
