O'Rourke Named NWC Defensive Player of the Week

Devin O’Rourke, a sophomoire linebacker from Eatonville, WA, has been named the Northwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week as he collected 19 tackles, including several key stops, in the Bearcats 34-27 win over PLU.

O’Rourke was in on the tackle that ended PLU’s fourth quarter drive as they attempted to tie the score. O’Roourke was also part of the defensive effort hat collected a key safety earlier in the game.

Officially, O’Rouorke had two solo tackles and 17 assisted tackles, including two for a loss.

Freshman soccer forward Kelsey Priest earned honorable mention honors for her goal in the Bearcat’s tie against Linfield.
