PLU Sweeps Bearcats and Two Other NWC Teams in Marathon Day

TACOMA, WA - The Pacific Lutheran University men's tennis team defeated Willamette 7-0 Saturday afternoon, part of a sweep of three matches the Lutes played against Northwest Conference opponents.

After the Lutes (10-3 overall, 9-1 NWC) swept Linfield in a morning match, they came back to defeat Willamette and Puget Sound 7-0 in a pair of afternoon events.

Fitz Paccione and Alex Sepenzis had the best shot at getting a win for the Bearcats, losing 9-8 (7-4) in a tie-breaker at No. 3 doubles to the brothers duo of Alex and Andrew Eli.
