FOREST GROVE, ORE. -- Senior left-handed pitcher Clint Moran (Mission Viejo, CA/Capistrano Valley HS) threw a complete game and the Willamette University offense collected 13 hits, as the Bearcats defeated Pacific University, 12-2, in a Northwest Conference game on Saturday, April 26 at Chuck Bafaro Stadium. Willamette evened its overall record at 19-19, while moving above the .500 mark in conference play at 15-14 with two games remaining. Pacific fell to 19-19 overall, 16-14 in the NWC.

Stalker crossed the plate with two outs on a single by Young. After Jack McGee (Jr., 3B/RHP, Hillsborough, CA/St. Ignatius HS) was hit by a pitch, Maslanik followed with an RBI single to center field.
Five runs in the sixth inning extended Willamette's lead to 10-0. Lee brought in the first run with a double to left center.
