SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University's season-opening baseball series at California State University-East Bay has been moved up a day due to the weather. The Bearcats and the Pioneers will now start the series on Friday, Feb. 20, with a single 9-inning game at 2 p.m. (PST). WU and East Bay will complete the three-game series with a doubleheader of 9-inning games on Saturday, Feb. 21, starting at 10 a.m.

The Bearcats finished the 2008 season with a 20-20 overall record. Willamette was 16-15 in the Northwest Conference (5th place).
