Baseball Series with Menlo Moves to Different Locations Due to Field Conditions
ATHERTON, CALIF. -- The Willamette University versus Menlo College baseball series scheduled for this weekend has been changed to alternate sites due to wet grounds at Menlo's home field. The teams still plan to complete all three games.
The new schedule starts with the Bearcats and the Oaks playing a 9-inning game at Palo Alto High School in Palo Alto, Calif., on Saturday, March 7 at 12 p.m. (PST). Willamette and Menlo will conclude the series with a double-header at Skyline College in San Bruno, Calif., on Sunday, March 8, starting at 10 a.m. (PDT).
Willamette enters the series with a 5-2 overall record, while Menlo is 1-7 on the season. After the three games with Menlo, the Bearcats are scheduled to host Northwest Conference rival George Fox University in the first home series of the season on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15.
