Ueno Finishes Second at Logger Invitational

TACOMA, WASH. -- Whitney Ueno (Sr., Hilo, HI/Hilo HS) of Willamette University took second place in the final standings of the Logger Invitational, hosted by the University of Puget Sound on Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6 at the Fircrest Golf Club. Ueno shot 83-90-173. Natalie Nakamine of Puget Sound won the tournament with a 36-hole score of 166 (89-77). UPS also won the team title at 711. Linfield College placed second with a score of 740. Willamette and Pacific Lutheran University did not field complete teams.

Nakamine's 77 was the low round of the two-day event. The low round on the first day was Ueno's 83.

Other overall leaders were Sarah Bicker of Puget Sound in third at 176 (86-90), Brynn Hurdus of Linfield in fourth at 177 (86-91) and Maresa Jenson of UPS in fifth at 180 (92-88).
