Bearcats are Sixth after One Round of NWC Championship

McKENZIE BRIDGE, ORE. -- The Willamette University men's golf team is in sixth place following the first round of the Northwest Conference Championship on Saturday, April 25 at the Tokatee Golf Club. Max Bonk of Pacific University is the individual leader with a two-under-par 70.

Linfield College, with four of its golfers carding scores in the 70s, is the team leader with a score of 303. Pacific holds second place at 306, with the University of Puget Sound in third at 311, Pacific Lutheran University in fourth at 314, Whitman College in fifth at 3:15, Willamette in sixth at 327, Whitworth University in seventh at 331 and George Fox University in eighth at 343. Lewis & Clark College did not enter a team.
