PORTLAND, ORE. -- The Willamette University rowing teams participated in the Portland Fall Classic/Charlie Brown Regatta on Sunday, Oct. 25. The Bearcats had nine boats compete in six different races. Teams raced 3 miles on the Willamette River in downtown Portland. The regatta was hosted by the Station L Rowing Club and the Rose City Rowing Club.

Winning boats received pumpkins -- the traditional award associated with the event.

The Portland Fall Classic/Charlie Brown Small College Regatta was the final regatta scheduled for the fall 2009 season. The Bearcats will resume competition in the spring.
