Willamette Women's Rowing is Ranked #2 in Pacific Region
SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University women's rowing team was ranked #2 in both the team category and the women's varsity 8+ according to the latest poll released by the NCAA Division III Rowing Committee. The poll was based on results through April 4.
The University of Puget Sound is ranked #1 in both categories. Pacific Lutheran University is ranked #3 in the WV8+ poll while Mills College grabbed the third spot in the team poll.
The WV8+ remained ranked #9 in the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA)/USRowing Poll. Williams College is ranked #1 with 200 points. The University of Puget Sound is ranked #5 with 165 points. WU received 117 points.
Willamette's next rowing competition is set for Saturday, April 10 at the Covered Bridge Regatta in Eugene, Ore. Races at Dexter Lake will get underway at 8 a.m. (PDT).
