Bearcats are in Texas, but Webcast Provides all the Action
Willamette vs. Hardin-Simmons Pre-Game Show Starts at 3:45 p.m. (PDT)
SALEM, ORE. -- For the second consecutive week the Willamette University Bearcats have traveled at least halfway across the country to play a football game. On Saturday, Sept. 11 they will take on Hardin-Simmons University in what is the Bearcats' second straight match-up of D3football.com Top 25 teams. Willamette enters the game ranked #13 and Hardin-Simmons is listed at #14.
Although the game will be played several states south and east of Oregon, you can follow all of the action between the Bearcats and the Cowboys through a Live Audio Webcast on the Bearcat Sports Network.
To listen to the Live Audio Webcast from announcers Mike Allegre and Craig Spivey, go to the Willamette Athletics website, scroll over Multimedia and choose Webcast from the slide-out menu. Click on Listen Live starting at 3:45 a.m. (PDT) to listen to the pre-game show and all of the live action.
Both teams opened the season with victories last week. Willamette, ranked #18 a week ago, defeated last week's #16-ranked team, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, 33-14. Hardin-Simmons, ranked #15 last week, defeated Whitworth University, 27-7. WU and and Hardin-Simmons each won on the road.
During Willamette's home games at McCulloch Stadium (the home opener is Sept. 18 versus Southern Oregon University), you will be able to keep up with the action through Live Audio AND Video Webcasts. Just following the same directions as above, but choose Watch Live for video AND audio at the same time. You can also choose Listen Live for audio only.

Quarterback Kevin Ramay (above) and fellow sophomore Brian Widing will likely share playing time as they have since the second game of 2009.
