Clemmer Named NWC Men's Field Student-Athlete of the Week

SALEM, ORE. -- Spencer Clemmer (Jr., Sacramento, CA/Elk Grove HS) of Willamette University has been chosen Northwest Conference Men's Field Student-Athlete of the Week for his efforts at the Lane Preview on Saturday, March 12.

Clemmer cleared 13'9.25" in the pole vault to earn third place behind two unattached athletes. It was a career-best vault for Clemmer, whose previous top mark was 13'2" last season. The vault also moved Clemmer into first place on the list of top vaults by NWC athletes this year.

Willamette's next competition in track and field will be the Charles Bowles Spring Break Classic (Dual with Corban University) on Friday, March 18 at the Charles Bowles Track.
