Willamette Softball Doubleheader with UPS Changed to Start Later

SALEM, ORE. -- The softball doubleheader between Willamette University and the University of Puget Sound scheduled for Saturday, March 26 at the WU Softball Field will now start at 2 p.m. (PDT) if weather permits. The twinbill originally was scheduled to start at 12 p.m.

A decision will be made on Saturday morning to either attempt to play the games or to postpone the doubleheader. The final two games in the series are slated for Sunday, March 27 starting at 12 p.m. (PDT) at the WU Softball Field.

Willamette is 6-10 on the season, 3-5 in the Northwest Conference. Puget Sound is 6-14 overall, 4-6 in the NWC.

If the games are played they will be Willamette's first home games since the Bearcats hosted Pacific University on Feb. 26-27.
