Bearcat Men's Basketball game against Linfield is Canceled

Northwest Conference Match-up is Rescheduled for Feb. 18

SALEM, ORE. -- The Northwest Conference men's basketball game scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 between Willamette University and Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore., has been canceled due to heavy snowfall in the Willamette Valley.

Willamette and Linfield hope to play the game as part of a doubleheader -- along with the women's basketball teams for the Bearcats and Wildcats -- on Tuesday, Feb. 18 in McMinnville. The women's game will begin at 6 p.m. (PST), with the men's game set to follow at 8 p.m.

With Saturday's game postponed, the Bearcats will not return to action until Friday, Feb. 14, when they will host Lewis & Clark College. Game time at Willamette's Cone Field House is slated for 6 p.m. (PST).

Kyle McNally leads the Bearcats with 26 blocked shots this season. He has blocked at least one shot in 15 of 20 games for the Bearcats.
