Softball Doubleheader versus Linfield will be Webcast on Sunday, April 27

Head Coach Damian Williams and the Bearcats will host Linfield College on Sunday.

SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University's softball doubleheader with arch rival Linfield College at the WU Softball Field on Sunday, April 27 will be broadcast live on the Internet. Full Access Sports will provide the webcast of both games, as the 24th-ranked Bearcats take on the 3rd-ranked Wildcats in Northwest Conference action. Live Stats also will be available for both games.

To listen to the webcast go to Willamette's Webcast page and click on the "Listen Live" link beneath "2008 Softball Webcast Schedule." The webcast will begin at approximately 11:45 a.m., 15 minutes prior to the start of the first game.

For Live Stats go to Willamette's Live Stats page and select "Softball" from the list of sports. The page with statistics may not update to the new team names and lineups until after the first pitch.

Willamette enters the doubleheader with a 23-9 overall record, including 17-7 in the NWC. Linfield is 34-2 overall, 23-1 in the NWC.
