Bearcats Reschedule Lewis & Clark, George Fox Softball Games

WU will Play Bruins on March19, Host Pioneers on Apr. 1

SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University has rescheduled its Northwest Conference doubleheaders that were canceled due to weather this past weekend. The Bearcats will play at George Fox University on Thursday, March 19, starting at 1 p.m. (PDT), and will host Lewis & Clark College on Wednesday, Apr. 1, starting at 2 p.m. (PDT).

Willamette was originally scheduled to play Lewis & Clark at the WU Softball Field on Saturday, March 14, then take on George Fox University on Sunday, March 15 in Newberg, Ore. Rain prevented both doubleheaders from being played.

The Bearcats are 5-1 on the season, 3-1 in the NWC. Willamette was ranked #10 in last week's NCAA Division III Poll conducted by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
