Christopher Sabato is in his eighth year on the Bearcat staff as an assistant coach for the cross country and track and field teams. Sabato works with the cross country team during the fall and coaches the pole vaulters in the spring.

Prior to arriving at Willamette, Sabato spent two years at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn., where he coached the sprinters and jumpers on the track and field teams.

Sabato attended Alfred University in Alfred, N.Y., graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. During his collegiate track and field career, Sabato competed in the sprints, the long jump and the pole vault.

Along with his coaching duties, Sabato is the Athletics Department webmaster and graphic design director. He is a photographer for the Willamette track and cross country programs and occasionally shoots other sports as well.
