Kevin MacRae

Kevin MacRae is in his third year on Willamette’s coaching staff after six years as an assistant football and basketball coach at McKay High School in Salem. He helped McKay’s basketball team reach the OSAA State quarterfinals twice. In addition, two members of the team were each honored once as the Central Valley Conference Player of the Year.
While at McKay, he worked with offensive and defensive systems similar to those used by Kip Ioane at Willamette. He is a valuable assistant coach for the Bearcats due to his previous coaching experience, plus his familiarity with Willamette’s offensive and defensive schemes. His wife, Mallory, is Willamette graduate.
