The complete title of the lecture is "Elizabeth Bishop and Jorie Graham: Recognizing the Place."

Jorie Graham is, in the opinion of many, the most important--and challenging--poets of her generation. Her style of presenting ontological and epistemological issues in personal and authentic verse is unique and powerful. Graham is truly expanding the compass of the art of American poetry.
