In the news we hear a lot about urban agriculture, but what are the lives like of those who try to do it for a living? This summer Peter Henry worked with people who farm community backyards to provide food for land-lenders, CSA subscribers, volunteers and the farmers themselves. This creative new form of agriculture has the potential to reshape the way people think about urban land-use, monetary exchange and consumer culture.
