"Women and Song - No Wine Required"

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Washington State’s enactment of women’s suffrage, Willamette University alumnus and pianist Nikolas Caoile and mezzo-soprano Melissa Schiel, will present a recital of song literature by women composers Clara Schumann, Alma Mahler, Pauline Garcia Viardot, Carrie Jacob Bonds, Cecile Chaminade, Rebecca Clarke, and Libby Larsen. The concert will be held Tuesday, March 30, 7:30pm, in Hudson Hall, Mary Stuart Rogers Music Center,Willamette University. Tickets are $5 General Admission, and free to Willamette students, faculty and staff, and can be purchased through the Willamette Department of Music in the Rogers Music Center, 9am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri, or charge by phone at (503) 370-6255.
