Awards for Service or Contributions to the Profession

Professional Service Award

Willamette faculty who are selected to and/or hold office in his/her academic disciplinary association will be supported for a one time up to $1,000.00 for each selection as a Professional Service Award.  Those who are on the board of an off-campus institution will also be supported for a one time up to $500.00 for Professional Service Award.

Academic Conference Service Award

Willamette faculty who organize and/or chair, or serve as the discussant on panels or sessions at appropriate national academic meetings will be supported for a one time up to $300.00 Academic Conference Service Award for each meeting.

Publishing Scholarship Award

Willamette faculty who publish their papers in peer-reviewed journals will be rewarded a one time up to $1,000,00, and a book by an academic press for a one time up to $1,500.00 Scholarship Award.

Community Service Award

Willamette faculty who are on the board of an off-campus organization will be supported for a one time up to $500.00 Community Service Award.
