Faculty & Student Research Awards

The Center encourages applications from Willamette faculty and students for two types of joint Research Awards:

For a faculty-led project:

Faculty members and students may apply for up to $1,500 per student in conjunction with a Faculty Research Award to support the role of a student research assistant for the project. Faculty leading student research projects shall submit a report upon completion of the grant detailing how time and funds were used.

For a faculty-advised project:

A faculty advised student may apply for up to $3,000 toward independent student research project advised by a faculty member who will receive a $1,000 stipend for his/her role. For these projects, both faculty members and students shall submit a report upon completion of the grant detailing their involvement and what was accomplished in terms of project results.
