It is suggested that the Faculty Research Awards be applied to either complete an unfinished project that was started by an Atkinson Award or Lilly Grant, but now needs to be prepared for submission, or in combination with one of these or other awards/grants.
Faculty Research Awards
Three Faculty Research Awards: each up to $4000.00, with specific need for the first or second of three stages:
1) Starting a project and giving a presentation on campus or at annual conference
2) Writing and revising a manuscript for submission to a journal or publisher
3) Publication

Professional Service Award
Those who are selected to and/or hold office in his/her academic disciplinary association will be supported for a one time up to $1,000.00 for each selection as a Professional Service Award. Those who are on the board of an off-campus institution will also be supported for a one time up to $500.00 for Professional Service Award.

Academic Conference Service Award
Those who organize and/or chair, or serve as the discussant on panels or sessions at appropriate national academic meetings will be supported for a one time up to $300.00 Academic Conference Service Award for each meeting.

Publishing Scholarship Award
Those who publish their papers in peer-reviewed journals will be rewarded a one time up to $1,000,00, and a book by an academic press for a one time up to $1,500.00 Scholarship Award.
