The Salem Society of the Archaeological Institute of America is pleased to announce its Lecture Series (and other events) for the 2009-2010 Academic Year.

Most lectures (unless specially noted below) will take place in the Paulus Lecture Hall (Room 201/Classroom E), Truman Wesley Collins Legal Center, Willamette University (245 Winter Street SE, Salem, Oregon).

All lectures (except the Bart Ehrman lecture on October 29th) are free and open to the public. They usually begin at 7:30 p.m., often preceded by a door prize raffle and a brief business meeting of the Society.

In addition, many lectures offer you the opportunity to meet and chat with the speaker over a casual dinner before the lecture. If you are interested, please come to our no-host dinners at 6 p.m. in the Jason Lee Room, Goudy Commons, Willamette University.
