Ms. Rakha will discuss the themes of justice and forgiveness in her debut novel. Rahka has long wrestled with the idea of forgiving the seemingly unforgivable in her work with Native American tribes as a mediator, and as a reporter covering a death penalty case. A National Endowment for the Humanities Enduring Questions Grant is funding her visit to Willamette's campus. A book signing will follow.
