Assistant Professor of Public Management and Public Policy Atkinson Graduate School of Management, Willamette University. Prior to joining the Willamette faculty, Tim completed his PhD studies at Stanford University and served as a Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Adaptive Behavior and Cognition in Berlin, Germany. Having grown up in Oregon, Tim has participated in various community and political endeavors that seek to preserve and enrich the wonderful state he calls home.

Fred King
Chair and Private Sector representative of the Committee on Performance Excellence, and author, Report to the Governor, Legislature and Public January 2010. Fred is a successful business owner of a strategic consulting and training company and although new to the Board, has been involved mentoring and coaching IMG for several years.

Mike Marsh
Former Deputy Director for the Department of Transportation; Administrator of the State Facilities Division; Administrator of State Budget & Management; Emeritus Executive Professor, Atkinson Graduate School of Management, Willamette University.

Kawika Pierson
Assistant Professor of Accounting and Quantitative Methods, Atkinson Graduate School of Management, Willamette University. He graduated from MIT's Sloan School in 2011 with a PhD in Management, focusing on System Dynamics and Accounting. Kawika’s research interests include the application of differential equation modeling to problems in accounting and other areas of management and include a better understanding government budgets and policy making.

Pete Shepherd
Pete brings three decades of experience in government affairs, litigation, and public administration To the IMG Board. Pete received his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law from He currently is serving “Of Counsel” staff with a Salem law firm. From 2001-2009, Pete served as Oregon’s Deputy Attorney General. Before joining HLGR, Pete practiced law in Eugene, served as Legislative Assistant to the late state Senator William (Bill) Frye, was Deputy District Attorney in Marion County.
