CHIP INTERACTIVE DATA QUERY SYSTEM

This system gives you access to all data in the CHIP system via one interface. You may access the data by first choosing an indicator OR a geographic location (zip code, county, city, high school district, or election precinct).      

From the INDICATOR SELECTION PAGE you may:

• choose the years and geographic locations to include in your table.
• limit your search to specified levels of available variables
• select only certain indicator components

From the GEOGRAPHIC SELECTION PAGE you may:

• select one geographic area and see all data available for that area
• choose which indicators to include in your table

System Requirements:
The interactive data system will operate in either Netscape (version 4.0 or higher) or Internet Explorer (version 5.0 or higher) browsers running under Windows 95 or higher.  This version of the data query system does not currently operate under Linux operating systems.

Screen Size:  
The data query system is optimized for a monitor displaying 1024x768 pixels (typical of a 17" monitor).  In smaller viewing areas, you can use the vertical and horizontal scroll bars to see all displayed information. On smaller monitors, while using the data query system, you may wish to reset your monitor to 1024x768 resolution.  Click here for directions.
