Please observe the
following:
- Each student should e-mail
himself or herself a copy of the data taken during each lab period
before leaving the lab for the day. Both LoggerPro and
BioPac software allow you to import raw data into Excel files and
cut and paste graphic data into Microsoft Word. You can use these
features to make documents which you can then e-mail to yourself
using Willamette Webmail. There is a link to Webmail on the
laboratory web page for the course.
- Unless otherwise instructed, lab
reports are due one week after the data were taken. You may turn
in lab reports to either instructor. A penalty of 10% will be
deducted for each day a lab report is late.
- If you have questions about a
particular laboratory, please ask the instructor for that
laboratory.
- While students will work in
groups and will prepare a group research proposal, each individual
student must prepare his/her own lab reports and final research
paper for the course. Duplicate wording in lab reports and/or
research papers of lab group members is considered plaigiarism. At
a minimum, the grade received on a paper will be divided equally
among students engaged in such practice. Depending on
circumstances, plaigiarism may result in a penalty as severe as a
grade of zero for the lab report, research paper, or the entire
laboratory grade.
