MUSC 349 Elementary Music Resources (.5)

This course will explore strategies and methods of music education in elementary school settings with classroom practice as its frame of reference. Through active participation in classroom music activities, students will develop their own musical, pedagogical, creative, and critical thinking with a view toward empowering them to design and implement curriculum.

Prerequisite: MUSC 135
