Colloquium Course WISE sites
Once you are officially notified of your colloquium section you can go to http://www.willamette.edu/cla/colloquium/courses to review the course description.
You should also look at your colloquium website on WISE, Willamette's collaborative learning environment. You will find a welcome letter that may contain a summer assignment. Your colloquium instructor may also be using WISE to post announcements, syllabi, assignments, grades and course readings and to include other tools, such as blogs, wikis, live chat, and discussion boards in course activities.
WISE is located at http://wise.willamette.edu. Firefox and Internet Explorer are the best browsers to use.
Click the gold "Login" button at the top of the screen and log in using your regular Willamette user name and password.
You will land on your My Workspace site, which is your private space.
If your instructor has published a course site, you will see a tab for that site (like IDS 101 05 09/FA).
Click the gold Logout button when you are through using WISE.
The online Quick Start Guide provides basic information to get you started. Other information is available at http://www.willamette.edu/wits/groups/userservices/documentation/wise/how_to/how_to.html.
If you have questions or run into problems, you can send email to wise-admin@willamette.edu or contact the WITS Help Desk at 503-370-6767.
