• Mar 1, 2013 -- Professor Cheng gives a talk titled "Variational Data Assimilation and Particle Filters" at the SIAM conference on Computational Science & Engineering (CSE13).

• Jan 21, 2013 -- Congratulations to Annika Hagelin, a sophomore student in CS, who has been awarded a full scholarship to attend the 2013 Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing Conference in Washington D.C.

• Nov 4, 2012 -- Congratulations to our CS students Kameron Schadt, Collin Skiles, and Trevor Griswold (left to right) - members of Willamette's "I Can't Believe It's Not Babbage!" team - who were the Northwest site champions at the 2012 ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest - Pacific Northwest Region.

  

• Oct 26, 2012 -- CS student Trevor Griswold presented on his summer REU at the Argonne National Laboratory Symposium For Undergraduates in Science, Engineering, and Mathematics.

• Oct 6, 2012 -- Congratulations to our CS student Trevor Griswold for being awarded the 2nd place poster presentation at CCSC NW for a poster on his summer REU at DePauw University. 

• Oct 6, 2012 -- Professor Orr hosts a tutorial on entitled "A Recursive Ray Tracer Assignment" at CCSC NW.
