  • GEM : National consortium for graduate degrees for minorities in engineering and science. For US citizens who belong to an underrepresented minority group. Must use fellowship at one of their member universities. (deadline: November 15th each year)
  • DoD : Department of Defense "Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) defense scholarship program", must be US citizen. (deadline: unclear)
  • Hertz : Hertz foundation graduate fellowship awards. (deadline: 11/1/10)
