The average American sees and/or hears more than 2,000 advertisements every day, from television, radio, billboards and emails.

The newspaper, USA Today, has been dubbed the "McPaper" because it provides its readers with "McNuggets" of news.

Eight times in the history of Sports Illustrated, Time and Newsweek, these puplications had the same things/topics published on their covers in the same week. These eight things/topics were: Joe Namath, Reggie Jackson, Secretariat, the 1980 U.S. Ice Hokey team, Magic Johnson, Mary Lou Retton, O.J. Simpson, and the 2001 World Trade Center disaster.

Famous American, Mark Twain, was issued a patent for suspenders.
