A 1.5 hour interval-style class designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, endurance, strength, and flexibility. TBC will alternate segments of power cardio movements with resistance training. We will use hand weights as well as our own body weight to overload the muscles during the resistance portion. Our focus will be on creating imbalance as to strengthen the core muscle groups. The last segment of the class will include an abdominal workout as well as a 10-minute cool down.
Attendance & Requirements
This is a half-semester class. Because of the laboratory nature of this class, attendance is required. To receive a passing grade students may miss no more than two classes per half semester. Students are expected to arrive on time dressed to work out and use class time effectively and completely. Students arriving more that 10 minutes late for class will not be given credit for that day's class.
