A portion of the grant funds are designated to support research and faculty development to allow interested faculty to investigate ways in which information technology affects their fields of interest and to develop innovative uses of technology as a pedagogical tool for encouraging creative activity. These opportunities are open to faculty beyond those intimately involved in the development of the interdisciplinary minor in order to foster a broader discussion and perspective across disciplines on the integration of technology and the arts.
