Colin Starr

Professor of Mathematics, Willamette University

Colin Starr is a Professor at Willamette University. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky, and his B.A. in Mathematics and Physics from Linfield College. He co-directed the Willamette REU program in its previous 6 years, and mentored REU groups in 2005 and 2006. He is also on the national council of Pi Mu Epsilon, the mathematics honorary society, and is active in the Mathematical Association of America, the Putnam Exam, and the National Council on Education and the Economy. Colin is also an avid racquetball player.
