Natalie Lehr has performed with numerous ensembles including the Phoenix Symphony, the Arizona Opera Orchestra, Ballet Tucson, the Arizona New Music Ensemble, and the Bowling Green Chamber Orchestra. She is active as both a clinician adjudicator and a soloist, most recently performing with the University of Kentucky Wind Ensemble and the Frankfort Concert Band. Natalie performed at the annual conference of the International Clarinet Association in 2003 and 2006.
Ms. Lehr is a sought after private clarinet instructor of all levels of students. She has held assistantships at Arizona State University and the University of Kentucky and has served as an adjunct instructor at Center College in Danville, Kentucky.
Ms. Lehr holds Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Clarinet Performance from Arizona State University where she was a recipient of the prestegeous Katherine K. Herberger Quintet Fellowship Award. Natalie is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in clarinet performance from the University of Kentucky. She is working on her dissertation on the performance practice surrounding Aaron Copland's clarinet concerto. Her former teachers include Robert Spring, Scott Wright, Amy Simmons, and Eddy VanOosthuyse.
