Valdine Mishkin


Cellist Valdine Mishkin is a diverse musician, recognized both as a gifted cello teacher of all ages and an avid solo, chamber, and orchestral musician.  Dr. Mishkin is Adjunct faculty at Willamette University, performs with the Oregon Symphony, Bluebox Ensemble and Delphinium Quartet.  She serves as coach, judge and clinician for regional and national organizations.

Valdine Mishkin earned Doctorate and Masters in Music Performance Degrees from Rice University studying under Lynn Harrell and Norman Fischer, Bachelor Degree from McGill University studying under Antonio Lysy, and performance diplomas (A.R.C.T.) and teaching certificates in cello and piano from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto.
