Peaceful Mito-Komon
Artist's Statement
I used to watch a TV program that was one of a famous samurai drama, Mito-Komon, as a child in Japan. I remembered the theme song of it, so I decided to use the image of that song. Originally, the whole image of the piece was sorrowful tone, but I changed it into a brighter image. My piece started with sorrowful tone as well, but it gradually went to happy tone. I imagined a lonely samurai who had become happy, peaceful, and disliking any battle.
