We would like to share a bit of background on the music and musicians you are about to hear. All projects were created in the Willamette University Music Technology Lab (MTL). The composer/performers were students enrolled in Digital Music Techniques (MUS339) in the Fall Term 2004 . The pieces you are about to hear are (as presented in the "program") the midterm and final project of each student.

Students in the class had to learn 3 core programs: an integrated sequencing package, an editor librarian, and an audio editor. More importantly, they had to develop the technique and sensitivity to use all of the technology in a musical way.

As you can guess, I'm quite proud of these students. They worked hard and grew a lot. Click any of the titles below and enjoy the concert.
