The Music Technology Lab is located in Matthews Hall, Room 114. A satellite lab, located in Room 132 of the Rogers Music Center provides facilities for group piano instruction. The following classes use the lab for instruction (click each listing for course descriptions):
The music lab is a great place to spend time. With the variety of equipment, you can do just about anything. There are often other students working on their homework, both those in Creating Music with Technology, and the music majors working on theory and composition. The best part of the lab is the freedom it gives you to develop your own style. Because of the diversity of the equipment, you can create electoronica using the synths, or jam out live audio tracks.
