Professor Basu Receives Teaching Award

Politics

Professor, Sammy Basu, was awarded with the Jerry E. Hudson Award for Excellence in Teaching at the Faculty Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, April 11, 2006. This award celebrates distinguished teaching and leadership by a faculty member.

William Jefferson Clinton Foundation Scholarship Award

Senior politics and history major, Matt Buehler, has been awarded a scholarship from the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation. The program funds up to ten students nationwide for a semester of intensive study at the American University in Dubai. Matt will study Islamic history, culture and politics, and sharpen his skills in Arabic.
