Departmental Honors
Departmental Honors in Politics are awarded on the basis of three criteria: a grade point average in the major of at least 3.70; nomination by the senior thesis faculty supervisor; and success in an oral examination in which students who fulfill the first two criteria are invited to defend their thesis to three members of the Politics faculty.
