For Willamette students, a good choice of chemistry
courses would begin with:
Chem 115 & 116: Introductory Chemistry
I & II |
Chem 225& 226: Organic Chemistry I &
II |
Chem 341: Instrumental Analysis |
Chem 230: Environmental Chemistry |
Chem 244, 345, 346: Unified Lab I, II, III |
Chem 362: Inorganic Chemistry |
| In addition, it is highly recommended that the curriculum
contain at least one year of science outside of chemistry and an elementary
statistics course. For example, Physics 215,
Biology 125,
and Math 138
would be good. An appropriate course in computer science or instructional
technology would be a good additional elective if such is available.
