should I get started? |
Explore this site, especially in the area regarding
your particular teaching

What
types of scholarships are available for math and science teachers? |
You should be on the alert for scholarships aimed at
persons intending to teach math and science. For instance, for
the next year there are scholarships available for such persons
WHO INTEND TO TEACH IN OREGON AND WILL BE ATTENDING AN OREGON
COLLEGE. These NSF funded scholarships are through the Oregon
Collaborative for Excellence in the Preparation of Teachers (OCEPT).
The application process is through the statewide scholarship program
administered by the Oregon Student Assistance Commission. The
deadline for applications is March 1. Application materials are
usually available by December 15 in the Financial Aid Offices
of Oregon colleges.
