It is desirable to also enroll in at least one course that deals with science or math methods of teaching in the grade level(s) for which one is preparing. Willamette may not offer the best course for you. Consult an advisor about the possibilities.
Ask whether these classes present multiple opportunities for group work, peer teaching and/or alternative assessment.
