Student Agreement
SCRP Program 2006

Program Commitments

I agree to uphold the highest ethical standards in my research this summer. I agree to commit full-time to my research and will not take on additional responsibilities such as other employment or class work without the expressed written consent of my faculty sponsor and the exectutive director. I understand that the program consists of the following 3 parts: 9 weeks of full time work this summer, a final written report, and participation in four mandatory meetings: two informational gatherings and two 2006 Fall conferences. The first conference will be on Friday afternoon in September at Willamette University, where I agree to prepare a poster and short oral presentation. The second conference will be a full Friday and Saturday in early November at University of Portland, where I agree to present a poster. I understand that the deadline for the final report is at the discretion of the faculty sponsor. If I do not fulilll my commitments to the program, I agree to forgo future payments.

Stipend/Food Allowance Payment Schedule

During my participation in the regular 9 week summer program, from May 30 to July 28, I understand I will be reimbursed $50/week for food expenses to be folded into a $3000 stipend and be offered a room in the Hasseldorf Apartments. I agree to a stipend payment schedule of $650 disbursed June 1, $1150 disbursed June 30, $1150 disbursed July 31, and $500 disbursed November 30 for a total of $3450. If I participate under a schedule other than beginning May 30 and ending July 28, I understand that the disbursement dates and possibly the stipend will be adjusted. I understand that expenses for constructing the posters and expenses for travel to the November conference will be paid by the SCRP program. I realize that I will not receive pay for any week that I am not participating in full-time research.
